craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) uses gentle, hands-on techniques to release tension in the body’s connective tissue, known as fascia. Fascia surrounds and supports the muscles, organs, nerves, blood vessels, brain, and spinal cord, forming a body-wide network. Because the body is fully interconnected, releasing tension in one area may improve function throughout the whole system.

The goal of CST is to relieve fascial tension, supporting the body’s natural ability to self-regulate, self-correct, and self-heal.

What to Expect During a Session

Sessions are similar to massage therapy, but you remain fully clothed. After a brief consultation to discuss your health history and goals, you’ll relax on a massage table or sit comfortably if needed. Using light touch, the therapist works with areas such as the head, neck, spine, or areas of concern. Your comfort and consent are prioritized throughout the session. Deep relaxation is common during and after treatment.

Session Length
A typical craniosacral therapy session lasts one hour. Multiple sessions may be recommended depending on your goals.
